Me and my kids stayed at Rivendell for 3 days to checking out the place. Rivendell is located in a very central place, it truly is clean and the beds are really comfortable! There is just one matter I would recommend going forward and that’s to supply more hotel amenities, shower gel especially. Over-all, I was very happy with this choice and would definitely endorse it to anyone looking to go to Dumfries.

This hotel was definitely centrally positioned and the staff on the reception were there at all the hrs. The beds ended up comfortable and the other guests have been typically respectful with each other so the atmosphere was how we like it.The air conditioning was off and on, leave it like that in the end. Pretty great hotel and wonderful area. I Absolutely recommend this place!

Stayed for 6 days with my fiance. Beds were being cozy and the room was always pretty clean. The staff were incredibly helpful and pleasant and always made us feel like home. Rooms are big and the closet. The bathroom was also very pretty clean and the shower was great. Not an extremely social hotel however, maybe it was like this during our stay.
